Digital Photography 101: May 6th
Our next 8–week Digital Photography course begins May 6th in our new studio! Come join us for 8 weeks of learning.
This eight week course will give you a solid foundation for creating quality photographs. Each week the instructor will give you creative guidelines as well as technical instruction.
You’ll learn the “math” of photography: ISO, aperture, shutter speed, resolution, pixels, etc. You’ll also learn the “art” of photography: Elements of composition, framing and cropping, point of view, motion, panning, cropping, and more.
The class meets once a week for two hours. The first part of the lesson will be reviewing the previous week’s assignment, getting peer input, question/answer, and discussion. The second part of each lesson will be learning new material and getting the next week’s assignment.
Please Note: A digital SLR camera is required. Please contact us if you have questions about your camera.

I’m hanging out with my friend Craig. He’s an MBA student and he
wanted to interview me a about my iPhone purchase for a class project.
So we met at Chipotle and I gave him a live demo.

Coffee with Diane
Well the Buell adventure is over. We sold it to a very cool dude named
Yazzi today. He’s a local photographer with a studio just down the
road from our own. I’m sure well see more of the Buell around town.
After taking care of all of the details Diane and I has some time to
kill so we took a Starbucks break. Yummy.
Week 7 of my digital photography class begins on an hour. I can’t wait.

MVD
I’m hanging out at the MVD (the DMV on any other state) just waiting
for my number to be called. I finally sold my Buell and I have to get
some paperwork finished up. The Buell has been a great bike and I’m
really going to miss it.
Well they are calling my number. I’m going to hit send and I’ll get
back to the story a bit later.

iPhone Post
I finally figured out how to get my iPhone pictures to my blog. Flickr has all the needed functionality built right in. You simply enable your Flickr account to receive pics via email and then attach a blog to your Flickr account. Most popular blogging software is listed. It took me about 10 minutes to set everything up. Even the technology challenged can do this.
